In my younger days life was easy. Day’s were longer, fun, easy going, and most of all had nothing to worry about.
while growing up my mother raised me and my sister in a single double wide trailer. I always told my friends don’t look at the outside, but come inside it’s super nice my mother always does a nice job. We have a very nice clean beautiful home. My mother worked very hard for us kids, she worked 2 jobs, while going back to college getting a degree. She did just that. I’ve always been so proud of her. She was strong and very determined. She taught my sister and I how to over come anything you want. You just Have to work for it.
My mother was a go getter. She was determined, and she proved just that. That’s why my sister and I never stop going after what we believe. True value, strength, encouragement, believe in yourself and all things are possible.
Push hard being rasied by a single mom was hard at times. I was the oldest so responsiblies come onto me. We for sure over come all those obstacles and grew up fast. That is ok. Growing up fast taught me alot of things that I have taken with me to this day at age 40. Learning alot of struggle over the years has been experiences that make me who I am today.
As for my sister she grew to be a young independent adult quick as well. She thought on the other hand has been more determined with things out of life than anyone I know. She goes for the gusto and isn’t afraid of anything in her way. She speaks her mind as should, stands up for what she believes in. I’m so proud of all the things she has achieved over the years. One strength she has is way to big of a heart, she goes above and beyond for everyone.
I admire her in so many ways with the life choices she has made, one impartial was foster care. Her heart exploded for those kids she bent all backwards fighting for those kids and to make her home the best of the best. She was the best advocate for those kids stood up to social works, ect fought for what she believed in was right.
Our system is broken. It took her over the edge as many didn’t want to hear her out. She just couldn’t do it anymore. Her strength, and fight was so hard it took her down to nothing. She didn’t give up. But what she did was pull away and went to work for county to help them get what they deserve. She fought for what she believe in. Now she is just living her life to the fullest.
